Booze!

John Jenkinson has always had a fascination with booze and being different! This will certainly allow you to try something very different during your stay and our staff will be happy to suggest some alternatives to your favourite drink.

In 1977, The Evesham Hotel was unusual at that time in that despite a large wine list, they did not sell any French or German wine. This is still the case and the wine list offers wine from such diverse areas as Georgia, Sweden, Utah, Algeria as well as the more normal Holland, India, Ireland (yes!), Idaho (whoops!), I mean South Africa, New Zealand, Italy!

John now believes he will start the next wine fad as well. His wine list boasts over 150 different grape varietals, so if you are fed up with Cabernet, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, you could try Tinta Barroca, Alicante Bouschet, Coda di Volpe or Sauvignon Gris.

To encourage you to try something different, all our wines are guaranteed; if you don't like it, don't drink it & don't pay for it!

As well as a distinctive wine list, our list of liqueurs, brandies, whiskies, eaux-de-vie, aperitifs, schnapps, hangover cures etc is unrivalled, so it's an opportunity not to be missed to try something different. It's impossible (so far!) to taste over the internet, so you'll just have to visit us to try Pisang Ambon, a good banana liqueur from Indonesia or Tyrni, a Finnish drink made from the Seabuckthorn berry.

And it's not all about the alcohol, we also have an interesting soft drinks selection also.
